Testimonials

Laurie diligently and thoughtfully helped me shape my pamphlet into something that stood a chance at being published. He’s honest, considerate and a little ruthless, in the best possible way. He really helped me understand what my work needed to go up a level.
— Stevie Green, Poet, 2024
Over the summer I asked if Laurie would look over some of my poems before publishing. For a very fair price he gave incredibly useful, thoughtful, and constructive feedback on 7 of my pieces and even shared some of his time via Zoom to discuss the poems further. I found his approach considerate and kind while still offering useful critique and I would recommend his editing services to any other poet in need of some wise, fresh eyes.
— Bella Cox, Poet, 2021
Laurie is a thorough and conscientious editor, able to hone in keenly on what is important for the work as a whole. I know that my writing has benefited enormously from his input.
— Tim Kiely, Poet, 2021
I thoroughly recommend Laurie as an editor. He’s meticulous & ruthless, but also really respectful of your overall intention. Consider his editing as the corrective lenses for your (possibly unfocused) artistic vision.
— Hannah Chutzpah, Poet, 2021
Laurie went above and beyond expectations with proofing and editing my work before submission. He helped me to see the weaknesses and straighten out the kinks. I would definitely recommend him for poetry editorial support. He knows his stuff. He understands the industry and what a publisher wants to see.
— Cat Balaq, Poet and Writer, 2021
