Homebrew Poetry ft. lan Wolfson, Bryony Littlefair & Open Mic
Homebrew is a freshly-brewed poetry open mic and feature night at the Hillbilly Social 101, Bounds Green.
Host Laurie Eaves invites you to come share your words on the open mic or just kick back with some lovely food and drink and check out feature sets from some of the UK's best poets.
Our next event is on Wednesday 23rd of April and we've got two wonderful features in the forms of Alan Wolfson and Bryony Littlefair!
ALAN WOLFSON
In Alan's own words...
I am a painter, poet and public nuisance.
Abstract and figurative images spill out of the tumble dryer of my imagination like warm damp things that could have done with another ten minutes.
I was born in the very middle of the 20th century, in the very middle of Cardiff. I studied graphics at Cardiff College of Art and West of England College of Art and Design.
I took part regularly in Crouch End Open Studios Art Trails, until a stroke in December 2019 slowed me down a bit.
Recently I wrote a book of haiku, a poem structure of seventeen syllables in three lines, five – seven – five, which has inspired my latest collection of art.
